Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 562 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It is full size for the era - 35mm, which is in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust.
It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, winding crown and even the signed Omega crystal!
It has all original parts and presents gorgeous condition. The case finish presents as mint and it showcases only light signs of ever having been polished. The dial is original and mint.
1950's and 60's Seamasters are great buys as parts are readily available for their well-made movements, and they're not hard to service.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. We have timed it in five testing positions, and it is running accurately.
