Today's offering showcases this very cool and pleasing c. 1970 Omega Seamaster with a striking Amazon green vignette dial. It has a classic Seamaster case design.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs It was the top tier offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from the era.

It circa dates to 1969 where it might have laid next to the Speedmaster Professional that was headed to to the Moon. It measures approximately 34.5mm in diameter without the crown, in between the sizes of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration.

Its case presents as mint with only light signs of polishing to the back. The Seamonster logo on the back is still strongly intact. The lines of the lugs remain strong too.

Its original dial has been meticulously custom refinished in Amazon green vignette - green at the center that fades to black around the periphery. The printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. On the wrist, it presents as gorgeous mint.

As part of the restoration, it has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It winds very smoothly and is running strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omegas in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, it has been equipped with a brand new aftermarket leather strap in green to complement it and an aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment. It could be paired with a black strap for a subtler look.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
